A tango is where a player passes the ball backwards from the right hand to the left, and then attempts to score with the left hand. It is so called because "it takes two to tango". The tango can be disorienting to beginning defenders, making it potentially very effective.

In the event that a tango is parasited, it is called a Last Tango in Parasite.
