Junk

A goal that lacks style, grace, skill or purpose is a junk goal. Junk goals are frowned upon by the ∏ foos community.

Occasionally, someone will get so-called "quality" junk. The video below is rare footage of quality junk. Simone makes a two-pointer from defense that rolls in off of the back wall. Quality junk is loosely defined as any junk that still somehow manages to do something interesting.

Powerful, randomly directed shots, that are deliberately perpetrated in the hope of producing a junk goal, are sometimes referred to as "junk seekers".
