Gancio

The gancio is when you control the ball with the central striker, and the move it quickly to the side before shooting. According to the side chosen, it can be a "pull gancio" or a "push gancio".

Undisputedly, Etera posseses the fastest pull, and Simone the fastest push.

Only the skilled players of upper intermediate level can access this technique.
Players at advanced level can sometime enhance the gancio to a reverse european, where the ball is shot in the opposite directions to the one you are moving to.
Only a single reverse european gamelle has ever been recorded.
