E.B.T. stands for Emotion Breakdown Technique. Emotional Breakdown occurs when an otherwise healthy player suddenly looses it under pressure, letting in self-goals and missing easy saves to quickly end the game. This can be brought on by the loss of a drawn out period of stressful defense, or more spectacularly, by the terrible gamelle. Attempts are also made to bring about breakdown in emotionally weak players by use of the humiliator and the turtle-head. Strictly speaking, E.B.T. refers to defending with the attackers so skillfully that one doesn't need to attack. The breakdown sets in and the opponent scores a self-goal.
This is considered even worse than the humiliator.
